Overview

Kontab Tablets (50 pack) contain the enzymes trypsin and bromelain, used to reduce inflammation, swelling and pain. These natural enzymes help break down the proteins involved in inflammation and fluid build-up, which is useful after surgery, dental procedures or injury, and in conditions with soft-tissue swelling such as sprains, bruising and certain inflammatory complaints. By calming swelling, they help ease discomfort and support faster recovery. A supportive, doctor-recommended option helping patients recover from injury, surgery and painful swelling. Directions for Use

Take only as directed by your doctor. Commonly one tablet two to three times a day, swallowed whole with water, usually on an empty stomach (about an hour before food) for best effect, unless your doctor advises otherwise. Do not crush or chew the tablets. Use it for the short course your doctor recommends, alongside any other prescribed treatment.

Tell your doctor if you have a bleeding disorder, are taking blood thinners (such as warfarin or aspirin), or are due for surgery, as these enzymes can affect bleeding and clotting. Avoid if you are allergic to pineapple (bromelain) or to the enzymes. Stop and seek advice if you notice a rash, swelling, breathing difficulty or persistent stomach upset.
