Pancreamax Tablets (10 pack) provide pancreatic enzymes (pancreatin. A blend of lipase, amylase and protease) to aid digestion when the pancreas doesn't produce enough of its own. As in chronic pancreatitis, cystic fibrosis, after pancreatic surgery and other causes of pancreatic insufficiency. The enzymes help break down fats, starches and proteins so nutrients are absorbed and symptoms like bloating and fatty, foul stools ease.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Take with every meal and snack, swallowed whole with cold or room-temperature water. Do not crush or chew, and do not keep them in the mouth (the enzymes can irritate). The dose is matched to the meal's fat content and your needs, as set by your doctor or dietitian. Take with food. Enzymes only work alongside a meal. Report ongoing weight loss, persistent fatty or foul-smelling stools, or abdominal pain, as the dose may need adjusting.
