Bragg Activated Charcoal Tablets are a supplement containing activated charcoal, traditionally used to help relieve bloating, trapped wind (gas) and digestive discomfort. Activated charcoal works by binding to gas and certain substances in the gut. This pack of 100 tablets offers a convenient option for occasional relief of flatulence and bloating for adults . (Note: medical management of poisoning requires emergency hospital care, not this product.)

Directions for Use

Take as directed on the product packaging, typically one or two tablets with water when needed for wind or bloating, or as advised by your pharmacist. Take it well apart (about 2 hours) from other medicines and supplements, as charcoal can reduce their absorption. Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Activated charcoal can bind and reduce the absorption of medicines (including the contraceptive pill) and nutrients. Always separate doses by at least 2 hours and check with your pharmacist if you take other medication. It may turn the stools black (harmless). Not for treating poisoning at home. In case of poisoning, call emergency services. Drink plenty of water to avoid constipation. Use with caution in pregnancy/breastfeeding and in those with bowel problems. Store in a cool, dry place.
