Alka-Seltzer Original Tablets (10 pack) are effervescent tablets that relieve headache and upset stomach occurring together. They contain aspirin (a pain reliever), with sodium bicarbonate and citric acid that fizz to form an antacid, neutralising excess stomach acid, so they ease pain such as headache while also settling acid indigestion and heartburn. Directions for Use

Fully dissolve the tablets in a glass of water and drink, following the dose on the label. Do not swallow the tablets whole. Do not exceed the stated dose or number of doses in 24 hours. Take with or after food. Because it contains aspirin, do not take other aspirin or painkiller products at the same time without advice.

Contains aspirin. Do NOT give to children or teenagers (risk of Reye's syndrome), and avoid if you have a stomach ulcer, bleeding problems, or asthma triggered by aspirin/NSAIDs. The effervescent tablets are high in sodium (salt). Take care if you have high blood pressure, heart or kidney problems or are on a low-salt diet.
