Quest Lactase Enzyme Tablets (30 pack) provide the digestive enzyme lactase, which helps people who are lactose intolerant digest dairy foods comfortably. Lactose intolerance occurs when the body makes too little lactase to break down milk sugar, leading to bloating, wind, cramps and diarrhoea after dairy. Taken with milk-containing foods, the supplement supplies the missing enzyme so dairy can be enjoyed with less discomfort. Directions for Use

Use as a food supplement. Take one tablet with the first bite or sip of a dairy-containing meal or drink, or as directed on the pack. Chew or swallow as instructed. These really work and work fast.

The enzymes work really well, I have horrible lactose intolerance however, these make it possible for me to eat ice cream or have a cup of tea once in a while.
