Overview

Levofloxacin 750mg Tablets (10 pack) contain levofloxacin, a powerful broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibiotic for serious or stubborn bacterial infections. Including certain pneumonias, complicated urinary infections, sinusitis and skin infections. Where other antibiotics are unsuitable. The high 750mg once-daily strength allows shorter, convenient courses for appropriate infections.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Take one tablet once daily, with plenty of water, at the same time each day, for the full course prescribed. Take it at least 2 hours apart from antacids, iron, zinc, calcium and dairy, which block its absorption. Stay well hydrated. Complete the course even as you improve.

Fluoroquinolones carry rare but serious risks. Stop and seek advice for tendon pain or swelling (avoid strenuous exercise during treatment), new numbness or tingling, or significant mood or sleep changes; these can be lasting. They can affect heart rhythm and blood sugar. Tell your doctor about heart conditions, low potassium and diabetes. Avoid strong sun (photosensitivity). Not generally for use in pregnancy, breastfeeding or children. Tell your doctor about all medicines, especially those affecting heart rhythm. Report severe or bloody diarrhoea.
