Acyclovir-Denk 5% Cream 7g is a topical antiviral from Denk Pharma for cold sores (herpes labialis) on the lips and face. Directions for Use

Apply at the first tingle for best results. Squeeze a small amount onto the cold sore and surrounding skin five times daily (roughly every 4 hours while awake) for 5-10 days. Wash hands before and after each application to avoid spreading the virus. If the sore has not healed after 10 days, see a doctor or pharmacist.

For external use on cold sores of the lips and face only. Do not use in the eyes, inside the mouth or nose, or on genital herpes (seek medical care for these). Avoid kissing and sharing utensils or towels while sores are active; the virus is contagious. Mild transient burning or stinging may occur. Consult a doctor before use in pregnancy or breastfeeding, or if cold sores are unusually severe or frequent (may signal lowered immunity). Store below 25°C.
