Mgr-10 Tablets (30 pack) contain flunarizine 10mg, a preventive treatment for migraine taken nightly to reduce how often attacks strike. Flunarizine is a selective calcium-channel blocker that stabilises the blood-vessel tone and brain activity changes behind migraine, cutting attack frequency over weeks of regular use. It is also used for certain vertigo disorders. For people whose migraines disrupt work and family life, Mgr-10 offers steady background protection. It prevents attacks rather than treating one already underway.

Flunarizine (as dihydrochloride) 10mg per tablet. Contains lactose.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor. Usually one 10mg tablet once daily at bedtime (5mg in older adults). Swallow whole with water, with or after food. Take it every night even when attack-free; full benefit can take 8-12 weeks. It does not relieve an attack in progress. Use your usual acute treatment for that, and keep a headache diary to track improvement.

Causes drowsiness and weight gain in some users. Take at night and avoid alcohol; do not drive until you know your response. Do not use with Parkinson's disease, a history of depression, or movement disorders. Flunarizine can worsen these, especially in the elderly; report low mood, tremor or stiffness promptly. Contains lactose. Not recommended in pregnancy or breastfeeding except on medical advice. Periodic review is needed on long-term use. Store below 30°C.
