Dulomin 30mg Capsules (30 pack) contain duloxetine, a medicine that balances the brain chemicals serotonin and noradrenaline. It is prescribed for depression and certain anxiety disorders, and also to relieve long-term nerve pain. Particularly the painful nerve damage that can come with diabetes (diabetic neuropathy). By restoring the balance of these messengers, duloxetine lifts mood, eases anxiety and dampens pain signals. The 30mg strength is often the starting dose. A versatile, doctor-prescribed option helping people manage depression, anxiety or nerve pain.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor. Usually once daily, swallowed whole (do not open or crush) with water, with or without food, at the same time each day. It can take two to four weeks to feel the full benefit, so keep taking it even if you do not notice an immediate change. Never stop suddenly. Your doctor will lower the dose gradually to avoid withdrawal effects.

Do not stop abruptly, as this can cause dizziness, headache and flu-like withdrawal symptoms. Tell your doctor about liver or kidney problems, glaucoma, high blood pressure, bleeding tendency or bipolar disorder. Watch for any worsening mood or thoughts of self-harm, especially in the first weeks or in young adults, and seek help urgently. May cause nausea, dry mouth, drowsiness or dizziness. Avoid alcohol, and do not combine with MAOI antidepressants. Use in pregnancy or breastfeeding only on medical advice. Store below 30°C.
