Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. A typical adult dose is 50mg two to three times daily (maximum 150mg/day), taken with or after food to protect the stomach. Swallow whole with water. Do not crush enteric-coated tablets. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest time needed, with regular review on long courses.

Do not use with active stomach ulcers or bleeding, severe heart failure, severe liver or kidney disease, in the third trimester of pregnancy, or with aspirin/NSAID allergy (asthma attacks, swelling, hives). Long-term use carries cardiovascular and stomach risks. Report black stools, vomiting blood, chest pain or swelling urgently. Caution in hypertension, asthma and the elderly; stomach-protecting medicine may be co-prescribed. Avoid other NSAIDs and limit alcohol. Store below 30°C.
