Overview

Bonjela Teething Gel 15g brings fast, soothing relief to sore gums when babies are teething. The sugar-free gel combines a mild local anaesthetic that gently numbs tender gums with an antiseptic that protects the irritated area, easing the fussing, drooling and disturbed nights of teething within minutes of application. Specially formulated for infants from 2 months (per pack guidance), it is a trusted nursery-cupboard essential for parents helping little ones through every new tooth.

Lidocaine hydrochloride 0.33% w/w with cetalkonium chloride 0.01% w/w in a sugar-free gel base. Confirm on product packaging.

Directions for Use

Wash hands. Apply a small pea-sized amount of gel onto a clean fingertip and massage gently into the sore gum area. May be repeated after 3 hours if needed. Do not use more than 6 times in 24 hours. Use from the age stated on the pack, and check the label for the correct minimum age. See a doctor if the baby has fever or symptoms beyond normal teething.

Use only the teething (paediatric) formulation for babies. Adult Bonjela contains a different active not suitable for children. Do not exceed the stated frequency. Stop if irritation or rash develops around the mouth. Teething does not normally cause high fever, vomiting or diarrhoea. If present, see a doctor rather than treating as teething.
