Flona 50mcg Nasal Spray (120 metered doses) contains fluticasone propionate, a corticosteroid nasal spray that treats allergic rhinitis at its source. One daily dose calms the nasal inflammation behind sneezing, runny or blocked nose, nasal itching and the watery eyes of hay fever and dust or pet allergies. Without the drowsiness of oral antihistamines. Acting locally in the nose with minimal absorption, it is a mainstay for the persistent allergic rhinitis so common in dusty environments, providing 24-hour relief when used regularly.

Fluticasone propionate 50mcg per metered spray (aqueous suspension). Contains benzalkonium chloride.

Directions for Use

Shake gently before use. Prime the pump (about 6 sprays into the air) before first use or after a week unused. Blow your nose, tilt the head slightly forward, insert the nozzle and spray away from the middle wall of the nose while sniffing gently. Adults: usually 2 sprays into each nostril once daily, reducing to 1 spray when controlled. Children over 4 years: 1 spray per nostril daily, on a doctor's advice. Use regularly. Full effect builds over several days. Wipe the nozzle after use.

For nasal use only. Do not spray into eyes or mouth. Nosebleeds, dryness or mild irritation can occur; stop and seek advice if severe or if whistling/nasal pain suggests septal damage. Use the lowest effective dose, especially in children (growth monitoring with prolonged use). Caution with recent nasal surgery or injury, untreated nasal infection, and with ritonavir or ketoconazole co-treatment. Consult a doctor before use in pregnancy or breastfeeding. Store below 30°C.
