Nebzmart S contains Salbutamol as an active ingredient. Salbutamol is a bronchodilator. It is indicated for the management of chronic bronchospasms unresponsive to conventional therapy and also in the management of acute severe asthma.
The product should be used with a respirator or nebulizer only under the direction of a physician. it is not to be injected or taken orally. to open the nebules, twist off the cap and squeeze the contents into the reservoir of the nebulizing chamber. discard the nebules after use. For adults and children over 18 months, give 2.5 to 5 mg repeated up to 4 times daily. For children under 18 months; 2.5 mg up to 4 times daily or more frequently in severe cases.
It is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to any of its components. Salbutamol should be given with caution in patients with hyperthyroidsm, myocardial insufficiency, arrhythmias, hypertension and diabetes. The following information is an educational aid only.
