Overview

Momate F Cream 10g combines mometasone furoate, a potent anti-inflammatory corticosteroid, with fusidic acid, a topical antibiotic. This dual-action cream is prescribed for inflamed skin conditions complicated by bacterial infection. Such as infected eczema or dermatitis. Where it calms redness, swelling and itching while clearing the infection. The combination tackles both the irritation and the bacteria in one application, helping skin settle faster. Momate F is used short-term under medical direction for infected inflammatory skin flare-ups in adults and older children .

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Use only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Wash and dry the affected area, then apply a thin layer to the affected skin once or twice daily as prescribed, rubbing in gently. Use for the duration your doctor recommends. Typically no more than 1-2 weeks, and do not stop early or extend use without advice. Wash hands after applying unless treating the hands.

For external use only. Do not use on the face, broken skin, acne, rosacea, or viral or fungal skin infections (such as cold sores, chickenpox or ringworm) unless a doctor advises. Prolonged use can thin the skin, cause stretch marks or worsen infection. Use the smallest amount for the shortest time. Do not cover with airtight dressings unless instructed. Not recommended for young children unless prescribed. Tell your doctor if pregnant or breastfeeding. Store below 30°C.
