Tacroz Ointment 0.03% (10g) contains tacrolimus, a topical medicine that calms an over-active immune response in the skin without being a steroid. Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Use only as directed by your doctor. Wash and dry your hands and the affected skin, then apply a thin layer of ointment to the eczema patches twice a day, rubbing in gently, for the period your doctor advises. Wash your hands after applying (unless treating them). Do not use under airtight dressings. Use a moisturiser as part of your eczema routine, but not at the exact same moment as the ointment.

For external use on intact skin only. Not on infected skin, broken skin, or the eyes. A warm or burning feeling and itching at the application site are common at first and usually settle. Avoid strong sunlight, sunbeds and excess alcohol during treatment, and use sun protection, as the skin can be more sun-sensitive. Do not use on areas of skin infection or unusual growths.
