Sema-Q 0.25mg Injection contains semaglutide 0.25mg, a once-weekly GLP-1 receptor agonist used in type 2 diabetes and, where licensed, chronic weight management. Under medical supervision. The 0.25mg strength is the initiation dose, easing the body in before stepwise increases. Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Dosage is determined by your prescribing doctor based on your individual needs. Do not adjust your dose without medical supervision. Inject subcutaneously once weekly on the same day each week, at any time, with or without food. Into the abdomen, thigh or upper arm, rotating sites, exactly as your doctor directs. The 0.25mg dose is for treatment initiation (typically 4 weeks) before escalation per your doctor's schedule. Store as the leaflet directs (refrigerated before first use). Never share the pen or needles.

Nausea is common initially and usually settles. Eat smaller meals and stay hydrated. Stop and seek urgent care for severe persistent abdominal pain radiating to the back (possible pancreatitis). Tell your doctor about medullary thyroid cancer history or MEN2, gallbladder disease, kidney problems and diabetic eye disease. Hypoglycaemia risk increases with sulfonylureas or insulin. Not for type 1 diabetes. Discontinue before a planned pregnancy as advised. Not for use in pregnancy.
