Overview

Anthisan Bite & Sting Cream 25g is the classic antihistamine cream for fast relief of insect bites, stings and nettle rash. Mepyramine maleate 2% blocks histamine in the skin. The chemical behind the itching, swelling and redness of mosquito and other insect bites. Calming the reaction where it starts. Applied promptly, it eases itch within minutes and helps stop the scratch-infect cycle, making it a smart addition to first-aid kits at home, on safari or during mosquito season.

Mepyramine maleate 2% w/w cream. Full excipient list available on product packaging.

Directions for Use

Apply a thin layer of cream directly to the bite or sting as soon as possible, two to three times daily for up to 3 days. Wash hands after use. For bee stings, remove the sting before applying. If the bite is on a child, apply for them so they do not rub it into eyes or mouth. Seek medical help for severe or spreading reactions.

For external use only. Do not use on broken or weeping skin, eczema, or large areas, and avoid eyes and mouth. Not for children under 2 years except on medical advice. Stop if irritation or rash worsens. Some people are sensitive to topical antihistamines. Seek urgent care for breathing difficulty, facial swelling, dizziness or widespread hives after a sting. These signal a serious allergic reaction needing emergency treatment, not a cream. Store below 25°C.
