Overview

Igol Pineapple Sachets are a bulk-forming fibre laxative containing ispaghula (psyllium) husk. They gently relieve and help prevent constipation by absorbing water in the gut to soften the stool and add bulk, encouraging natural, regular bowel movements. Igol is also useful for maintaining regularity in conditions where extra fibre helps, such as irritable bowel syndrome. The pleasant pineapple-flavoured sachets are easy to take. Supplied as a pack of 10 sachets.

Active ingredient: Ispaghula (psyllium) husk. Confirm exact amount per sachet on the packaging.

Directions for Use

Stir the contents of one sachet into a full glass of water and drink immediately, as the mixture thickens quickly. Take once to three times daily as directed, preferably after meals. Always follow each dose with plenty of extra fluid through the day. Do not take it immediately before going to bed. It may take 1-3 days to work fully.

Always take with plenty of water. Do not swallow the dry powder, as it can swell and cause choking or blockage. Not suitable if you have difficulty swallowing, bowel narrowing or obstruction, or sudden unexplained changes in bowel habit. Use with caution in diabetes (check sugar content) and seek advice if pregnant. Store below 30°C in a dry place.
