Cyclogyl 1% Eye Drops contains Cyclopentolate (1% w/v ) used in eye examination and uveitis.Its used to dilate or enlarge the pupil of the eye so that the doctor can examine the back of the eyeball. It may also be used to reduce pain in certain eye conditions. It also reduces inflammation (redness and swelling) after cataract surgery.
This medicine is for external use only.Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off extra liquid.
Cyclogyl Eye Drop may be unsafe to use during pregnancy but is probably safe to use during lactation. Cyclogyl Eye Drop may cause blurring of your vision for a short time just after its use.
