Overview

Accu-Chek Instant Test Strips are blood glucose test strips used with the Accu-Chek Instant meter to measure blood sugar levels at home. A small drop of blood is applied to the strip, and the meter gives a quick, accurate reading to help people with diabetes monitor and manage their blood glucose. This pack of 50 strips supports regular self-monitoring for people with diabetes (part of the Mzima Package 1).

Directions for Use

Insert a new strip into a compatible Accu-Chek Instant meter, prick the side of a fingertip with a lancet, and apply a small drop of blood to the edge of the strip as directed. Read the result on the meter. Use a new strip and lancet for each test, and record your readings. Follow the meter and strip instructions exactly, and check the code/expiry.

For in-vitro diagnostic use only. Do not swallow. Use strips with the matching meter and before their expiry date; store in the original container with the lid closed, away from heat and moisture. Wash and dry hands before testing. Used lancets are sharps. Dispose of them safely. Discuss your readings and any needed treatment changes with your healthcare provider; do not adjust diabetes medication on your own unless advised.
