The Medtextile Ankle Support With Strap (Small) combines an elasticated compression sleeve with an adjustable figure-of-eight strap for firmer ankle stabilisation than a plain sleeve. The strap mimics supportive taping, limiting the sideways roll that causes ankle sprains. Making it ideal during recovery from a sprain, for weak or unstable ankles, and for return to football, running and other sports. Compression helps control swelling while keeping the joint warm and supported. A dependable choice for active people protecting a vulnerable ankle, used alongside rehabilitation exercises.

Directions for Use

Slide the sleeve over the foot and seat it evenly around the ankle. Wrap the strap in a figure-of-eight around the joint as shown in the product insert and fasten so support feels firm but comfortable. Wear during sport or activities that stress the ankle, and remove for rest and sleep. Check that toes stay warm and a normal colour. Hand wash in cool water and air-dry.

Remove immediately if toes become numb, cold or discoloured. The strap may be too tight.
