The Medtextile White Arm Sling Facilitated (Large) supports the weight of an injured or recovering arm, relieving strain on the shoulder, elbow and wrist. It is used after fractures, dislocations, sprains, shoulder injuries and upper-limb surgery to hold the arm rested in the correct healing position. The facilitated design with an adjustable neck strap is easy to fit and remove with one hand, and the breathable white fabric stays cool and comfortable through the day. The Large size suits bigger frames and longer forearms. Fitted as directed by your clinician.

Directions for Use

Fit as shown by your doctor, nurse or physiotherapist. Rest the forearm fully in the sling pouch with the elbow seated at the closed end and the hand slightly higher than the elbow. Adjust the neck strap so the arm is supported without pulling on the neck. Wear for the period advised, removing only as instructed for exercises or washing. Keep the fingers gently moving unless told otherwise.

Use under medical direction after proper assessment of the injury. Report increasing pain, swelling, numbness, tingling or colour change in the fingers promptly. These can signal circulation problems. Do not stop using the sling earlier than advised, and follow your clinician's plan for gradually mobilising the shoulder to prevent stiffness.
