Directions for Use
Sit quietly for 5 minutes, feet flat and back supported. Wrap the cuff snugly on a bare upper arm at heart height, then press start and stay still and silent during the reading. Take readings at the same times each day, ideally two readings a minute apart, and record them. Avoid caffeine, exercise and smoking for 30 minutes beforehand. Follow the manual for cuff fit and battery care.
Home readings guide management but do not replace professional assessment. Share your readings with your doctor and do not change any medication based on them yourself. A single high reading is not an emergency, but seek urgent care for a very high reading with symptoms such as chest pain, severe headache, breathlessness or weakness. Use the correct cuff size for accuracy. Readings can be less reliable with irregular heart rhythms. Discuss with your doctor.
