Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor. Usually one 10mg tablet once daily, with or without food, at the same time each day. Expect gradual improvement over 2-4 weeks; do not stop early or adjust the dose yourself. When treatment ends, your doctor will reduce the dose gradually. Keep follow-up appointments, particularly during the first month.

May initially heighten anxiety or, rarely, self-harm thoughts in under-25s. Report mood deterioration promptly. Avoid MAOIs and tell your doctor about tramadol, triptans and St John's Wort (serotonin syndrome risk). Caution with heart rhythm disorders, epilepsy, bleeding tendency and NSAIDs/blood thinners. Common early effects. Nausea, headache, sleep changes. Usually settle. Avoid alcohol. Use in pregnancy or breastfeeding only on medical advice. Store below 30°C.
