The OneTouch Select Plus Flex Meter is a compact blood glucose monitoring system that lets people with diabetes check their blood sugar quickly and easily at home. Directions for Use

Follow the instruction manual that comes with the meter. In brief: wash and dry your hands, insert a OneTouch Select Plus test strip, use the lancing device to obtain a small drop of blood from the side of a fingertip, and touch it to the strip's channel. Read the result and the range indicator on the screen after a few seconds, and record it. Use only OneTouch Select Plus strips and the correct lancets, and dispose of used lancets safely in a sharps container. Discuss your readings and target ranges with your doctor.

Use only OneTouch Select Plus test strips and check they are within their expiry date and stored correctly, as out-of-date or damaged strips give wrong results. Never share lancets or the lancing device between people, to avoid spreading infection. A single reading is only a snapshot. Base any treatment changes on your doctor's advice, not on one result. Seek medical help for very high or very low readings or symptoms of either. Keep the meter clean and store as directed. This information is for general guidance only.
