Directions for Use

Fill with HOT, not boiling, water to about two-thirds full, gently expel the air, then screw the stopper in firmly. Check for leaks. Wrap it in a cloth or cover before placing it against the skin, and rest it on the achy or cold area. Empty it after use and store it hanging upside down with the stopper out. Replace the bottle if the rubber becomes worn, hard or cracked.

To avoid burns and scalds: never use boiling water, do not overfill, and always use a cover or wrap. Do not place it directly on bare skin, especially for babies, young children, the elderly, or anyone with reduced sensation (e.g. diabetes). Do not lie or put full body weight on it, and do not use a worn or damaged bottle. Keep filling water away from children. Replace every couple of years.
