    Overview
    Ketoplus Shampoo combines ketoconazole 2%, a powerful antifungal, with zinc pyrithione 1%, a proven anti-dandruff agent, in one medicated shampoo. This dual action tackles the root causes of stubborn dandruff and seborrhoeic dermatitis. The Malassezia yeast and the flaking, itching and greasy scaling it provokes. More comprehensively than single-ingredient shampoos. It is also used for pityriasis versicolor, the patchy discolouration common in warm climates. Ketoplus restores a comfortable, flake-free scalp for people battling persistent dandruff that ordinary shampoos cannot shift.

    Ketoconazole 2% w/v and zinc pyrithione 1% w/v medicated shampoo. Full excipient list available on product packaging.

    Directions for Use
    Wet hair thoroughly, apply enough shampoo to lather the scalp, massage in and leave for 3-5 minutes before rinsing well. For dandruff and seborrhoeic dermatitis: use twice weekly for 2-4 weeks, then once weekly or fortnightly to prevent relapse. For pityriasis versicolor: use once daily for up to 5 days, or as advised. Avoid using harsh styling products immediately after treatment.

    For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes; rinse thoroughly with water if it occurs. Stop use if scalp irritation, rash or unusual hair changes develop. Mild dryness or oiliness of hair can occur. If there is no improvement after 4 weeks, or the scalp is broken, weeping or severely inflamed, consult a doctor or pharmacist. Use in pregnancy and breastfeeding is generally acceptable as skin absorption is minimal, but check first if unsure. Store below 30°C.
