Pioday 30mg Tablets contain Pioglitazone 30mg which is used in the treatment of type 2 diabetes. It is used in addition to diet and exercise to improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes. It works by increasing the body's sensitivity to insulin, a natural substance that helps control blood sugar levels.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Pioday 30 mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
Taking pioglitazone with alcohol may affect blood glucose levels in patients with diabetes.Pioday 30mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy and probably safe to use during lactation.
