Overview

Rennie Peppermint Tablets (24 pack) are the classic chewable antacid for fast heartburn and indigestion relief. Each tablet combines calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate, which neutralise excess stomach acid within minutes of chewing. Easing heartburn, acid indigestion, sour stomach, bloating and the discomfort of overindulgence. With a fresh peppermint taste and a handy pocket pack, Rennie is the convenient rescue for acid attacks at work, after meals or on the go, trusted by generations and suitable for use during pregnancy when taken as directed.

Calcium carbonate 680mg and heavy magnesium carbonate 80mg per chewable tablet. Contains sucrose. Peppermint flavour.

Directions for Use

Adults and children over 12: chew or suck 1-2 tablets as symptoms arise, up to a maximum of 11 tablets in 24 hours. Best taken about an hour after meals and at bedtime, or whenever heartburn strikes. Do not exceed the stated dose. If symptoms persist beyond 7 days despite regular use, see your doctor or pharmacist.

Do not use with severe kidney impairment, high blood calcium or low blood phosphate. Prolonged heavy use can cause high calcium and alkali levels. Keep to the stated maximum. Separate from tetracycline or quinolone antibiotics, iron and thyroid medicines by at least 2 hours, as antacids reduce their absorption. Suitable in pregnancy at recommended doses. Avoid prolonged maximal use. Persistent indigestion, weight loss or difficulty swallowing needs medical review. Store below 25°C in a dry place.
