Rostat EZ 20mg is a prescription combination medicine for high cholesterol, containing rosuvastatin and ezetimibe. Rosuvastatin (a statin) reduces the cholesterol the body makes, while ezetimibe reduces the cholesterol absorbed from food in the gut. Working in two complementary ways, they lower LDL ('bad') cholesterol more than a statin alone, helping reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke. Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor. Rostat EZ 20mg is usually taken once daily, at the same time each day, with or without food, swallowed with water. Continue alongside a healthy diet, and keep taking it even when you feel well. Do not change the dose or stop without medical advice.

This is a prescription medicine. Report unexplained muscle pain, tenderness or weakness promptly, as statins can rarely affect the muscles. Tell your doctor about kidney, liver or thyroid problems, heavy alcohol use, or Asian ancestry (which can affect rosuvastatin dosing). Your doctor may check liver function and cholesterol. Do not use in pregnancy or breastfeeding. Tell your doctor about other medicines. Store in a cool, dry place.
