Senokot Tablets (20 pack) contain standardised senna, nature's best-known stimulant laxative, for reliable overnight relief of occasional constipation. Derived from senna leaves, the sennosides gently stimulate the bowel's natural muscle contractions, typically producing a comfortable bowel movement 8-12 hours after a bedtime dose. Directions for Use

Adults and children over 12: take 1-2 tablets at bedtime with water; relief usually follows the next morning. Use the lowest dose that works, for the shortest time needed. Not more than a week without medical advice. Increase fluids, fibre and activity alongside. For children under 12, use only on a doctor's or pharmacist's advice.

Do not use with severe abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting or suspected bowel obstruction. Seek medical care instead. Prolonged daily use leads to laxative dependence and low potassium; persistent constipation needs investigation, not stronger laxatives. May cause cramps; urine may discolour harmlessly. Caution in pregnancy. Ask a pharmacist; short-term use while breastfeeding is generally acceptable. Store below 25°C.
