Spiroglen 25/10mg is a prescription combination diuretic ('water tablet') containing spironolactone and torsemide, used to remove excess fluid (oedema) from the body in conditions such as heart failure, liver disease (ascites) and kidney disease, and to help manage fluid retention. Spironolactone is a potassium-sparing diuretic that helps preserve potassium, while torsemide is a loop diuretic that increases urine output. Together they relieve fluid overload while helping balance potassium, for adults under medical supervision.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor. Spiroglen is usually taken once daily in the morning (to avoid needing to pass urine at night), with or after food, swallowed with water. Do not change the dose without medical advice. Your doctor will monitor your kidney function and salts (especially potassium).
