Zestril 20mg (lisinopril) is a prescription ACE inhibitor used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) and heart failure, and to protect the heart after a heart attack and the kidneys in people with diabetes. Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor. Zestril 20mg is usually taken once daily, at the same time each day, with or without food, swallowed with water. The first dose may be taken at bedtime, as it can lower blood pressure noticeably at first. Do not stop taking it without medical advice.

This is a prescription medicine. Do not use during pregnancy. Tell your doctor at once if you become pregnant. A dry, persistent cough is a common side effect; tell your doctor if it troubles you. Seek urgent help for swelling of the face, lips or throat (angioedema). Tell your doctor about kidney problems, and avoid potassium supplements/salt substitutes unless advised. Your doctor may monitor kidney function and potassium. Rise slowly if dizzy, and use caution with dehydration or other blood-pressure medicines. Store in a cool, dry place.
