Overview

Amlotel Q 40/5mg Tablets combine telmisartan 40mg, a potent angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB), with amlodipine 5mg, a calcium channel blocker. Two complementary mechanisms for high blood pressure needing dual therapy. Telmisartan relaxes and protects blood vessels while amlodipine widens them further, together delivering smooth 24-hour pressure control from one daily tablet.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Take one tablet once daily at the same time each day, with or without food, swallowed whole with water. Continue regularly even when feeling well and attend scheduled blood pressure checks and blood tests.

Do not use during pregnancy. Tell your doctor immediately if pregnant or planning pregnancy. May cause dizziness (rise slowly), ankle swelling, flushing or headache initially. Report persistent swelling or fainting. Avoid large amounts of grapefruit juice. Kidney function and potassium may be monitored; avoid potassium supplements unless advised. Use caution in severe liver or kidney impairment. Tell your doctor about all other blood pressure medicines.
