Arcoxia 120mg Tablets (28 pack) contain etoricoxib 120mg, a COX-2 selective anti-inflammatory (NSAID) from the original Arcoxia brand. The 120mg strength is used for short-term relief of acute gout attacks and acute pain, providing strong relief of the severe pain, swelling and inflammation of a gout flare, with a lower risk of stomach irritation than traditional NSAIDs.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Take one tablet once daily for the short course advised. The 120mg dose is for acute, short-term use (such as a gout attack), not ongoing daily use, so confirm the duration with your doctor. It may work faster on an empty stomach. Do not exceed the dose or extend the course without advice.

Etoricoxib can raise blood pressure and carries cardiovascular risk. It is not for those with uncontrolled hypertension, established heart disease, stroke or significant heart failure; blood pressure should be monitored and chest pain, breathlessness or swelling reported. Not for active ulcers or GI bleeding, severe kidney or liver disease, or late pregnancy. Report black stools or stomach pain. Use caution with blood thinners, blood pressure medicines and diuretics, and in the elderly. The 120mg dose is for short-term use only.
