Aztor 20mg (atorvastatin) is a prescription cholesterol-lowering medicine from the statin group. It works in the liver to reduce the production of LDL ('bad') cholesterol and total cholesterol, while supporting healthy levels of HDL ('good') cholesterol. Directions for Use
This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor. Aztor 20mg is usually taken once daily, at any time of day but at the same time each day, with or without food, swallowed with water. Continue alongside a healthy diet and lifestyle, and do not stop without medical advice even when you feel well.
This is a prescription medicine. Report unexplained muscle pain, tenderness or weakness promptly, as statins can rarely affect the muscles. Tell your doctor about liver problems or heavy alcohol use; your doctor may check liver function. Avoid large amounts of grapefruit juice. Must not be used in pregnancy or breastfeeding. Tell your doctor about other medicines, including certain antibiotics and antifungals. Store in a cool, dry place.
