Pernex 5% Soap is a medicated acne-cleansing bar containing benzoyl peroxide, a proven anti-acne ingredient. It gently cleanses the skin, removing dirt and excess oil, unclogs pores and helps reduce the bacteria that contribute to acne, helping to control breakouts and support clearer skin. This 75g bar is suitable for use on acne-prone areas of the face and body, making it a practical part of an acne-care routine for teens and adults .
Directions for Use
Wet the skin and work the soap into a lather, then massage gently over acne-prone areas and rinse thoroughly. Start once daily (or every other day) and build up as tolerated, as benzoyl peroxide can be drying. Follow with a light moisturiser, and use a sunscreen during the day. Avoid the eyes, lips and inside of the nose.
For external use only. Avoid the eyes, mouth and broken skin. Benzoyl peroxide can cause dryness, redness or peeling. Reduce frequency if this occurs, and may bleach hair, towels, bedding and coloured fabrics, so rinse well and use white towels. Do a patch test first if your skin is sensitive, and use sun protection. Discontinue if severe irritation develops. Store in a cool, dry place.
