Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Take one tablet once daily, typically in the evening (the timing montelukast is usually taken), swallowed with water. Bilastine is best taken on an empty stomach, about an hour before or two hours after food and fruit juice, which can reduce its absorption. Take consistently during your allergy season or as advised.

Montelukast can rarely cause mood or behaviour changes. Including low mood, anxiety, sleep problems, agitation or thoughts of self-harm; report any such changes promptly and stop the medicine. Bilastine is usually non-drowsy but take care until you know your response. Take bilastine away from food and juice for it to work properly.
