Directions for Use

This medicine requires a prescription. Use only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. The usual adult dose is 2 tablets taken up to four times a day (do not exceed 12 tablets in 24 hours), swallowed with enough water. Take with or after food if it upsets your stomach. Use for the shortest time needed - stop once the painful spasm settles. Because it contains paracetamol, do not take other paracetamol-containing medicines at the same time to avoid an overdose.

Do not use if allergic to methocarbamol or paracetamol, in coma or pre-coma states, known brain damage, a history of seizures/epilepsy, or myasthenia gravis. Use with caution in kidney or liver impairment, and never combine with other paracetamol products (risk of serious liver damage). Methocarbamol may cause drowsiness or dizziness - do not drive or operate machinery until you know how it affects you, and avoid alcohol. Tell your doctor if pregnant or breastfeeding.
