Overview

Flamingo Compression Stockings Above-Knee Class II (Medium) are medical-grade graduated compression stockings providing firm Class II compression. Graduated compression. Firmest at the ankle, easing up the leg. Supports venous return to manage moderate varicose veins, leg swelling, venous insufficiency and to support clot prevention and recovery, as advised by a clinician. The above-knee (thigh) length covers the whole leg.

Directions for Use

Put the stocking on first thing in the morning before swelling builds, easing it on evenly without bunching or rolling the top. Never fold it over, as this creates a tight band. Wear through the day and remove at night unless your clinician advises otherwise. Hand-wash and air-dry to preserve the compression.

Class II is a firmer medical compression. Use on the advice of a healthcare professional and after correct measurement. Do NOT use, or seek advice first, if you have significant peripheral arterial disease, certain heart failure, leg infections, or numbness from diabetes or nerve problems, as compression can be harmful in these cases. Remove and seek advice if the leg or foot becomes numb, painful, pale, blue or cold, or if new sores appear. Do not let the top roll into a tight band.
