Overview
Vilestamine is a prescription combination tablet containing betamethasone (a corticosteroid) and dexchlorpheniramine (an antihistamine), used to relieve allergic conditions and associated inflammation. Betamethasone reduces inflammation, redness and swelling, while dexchlorpheniramine eases allergy symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, itching and rashes. It is used for stubborn or more severe allergic conditions. Such as allergic rhinitis, hay fever and itchy skin disorders. In adults , for short courses under a doctor's guidance.
Directions for Use
This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor. Vilestamine is usually taken one to two times daily, with or after food, for the short period advised. Because it contains a steroid, do not take it for longer than prescribed or stop a longer course suddenly without medical advice.
