Zyncet 10mg (cetirizine) is an antihistamine used to relieve the symptoms of allergies such as hay fever (allergic rhinitis), and itchy skin conditions including hives (urticaria). It eases sneezing, a runny or itchy nose, watery or itchy eyes and itchy skin by blocking histamine, the chemical that drives allergic reactions. Taken once daily, Zyncet provides effective 24-hour allergy relief for adults and older children .

Directions for Use

Adults and children over 6 (or as advised): take one 10mg tablet once daily, with water, with or without food. For younger children, follow the pack instructions or your pharmacist's advice. Do not take more than one dose in 24 hours.

Although generally low-sedating, cetirizine can cause drowsiness in some people. See how it affects you before driving, and avoid alcohol. Tell your doctor if you have kidney problems, as the dose may need adjusting. Use with caution and on advice in pregnancy or breastfeeding. Stop and seek advice if symptoms persist or worsen.
