Zyrtec 10mg Tablets (30 pack) from UCB contain cetirizine, a non-drowsy (second-generation) antihistamine that relieves allergy symptoms. Cetirizine blocks histamine, the body chemical released during an allergic reaction, to ease sneezing, a runny or itchy nose, itchy and watery eyes, and the itching of hives and skin allergies. It works for conditions such as hay fever (allergic rhinitis), dust and pet allergies, and itchy skin rashes, with the convenience of once-daily dosing. Being less sedating than older antihistamines, it suits daytime use. A trusted allergy-relief tablet for people troubled by hay fever, dust allergies or itchy skin.

Directions for Use

Take as directed on the label or by your doctor. For adults and children over 12, usually one 10mg tablet once daily, swallowed with water, with or without food. Take it at the same time each day during the allergy season or while symptoms last. Do not exceed one tablet in 24 hours. For children under 12, follow medical or pharmacist advice on a suitable dose or form.

Although described as non-drowsy, cetirizine makes some people sleepy. See how it affects you before driving, and avoid alcohol, which can add to any drowsiness. Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you have kidney problems (the dose may need lowering), epilepsy or difficulty passing urine.
