Silotrif 8mg Capsules contain silodosin, a highly selective alpha-blocker for the urinary symptoms of an enlarged prostate (benign prostatic hyperplasia). Weak stream, hesitancy, incomplete emptying, urgency and night-time frequency. Silodosin relaxes the prostate and bladder-neck muscle with strong selectivity for the urinary tract, easing the flow and improving day-to-day comfort.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Take one capsule once daily with a meal (usually the same meal each day), swallowed whole. Take consistently; symptom relief builds over the first days to weeks. Continue as prescribed and attend reviews.

A common, harmless effect is reduced or 'dry' ejaculation. This is expected and reverses on stopping. May cause dizziness, especially when standing or starting treatment. Rise slowly and avoid driving until you know your response. Tell your eye surgeon you take an alpha-blocker before any cataract surgery (it affects the iris).
