Tamdura Tablets combine tamsulosin, the leading alpha-blocker, with dutasteride, a 5-alpha-reductase inhibitor. The complete two-pronged treatment for moderate to severe benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlarged prostate). Tamsulosin relaxes the prostate and bladder neck for fast symptom relief while dutasteride gradually shrinks the gland itself, treating both the symptoms and the cause.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Take one capsule once daily, approximately 30 minutes after the same meal each day, swallowed whole. Do not chew or open. Symptom relief from tamsulosin comes within days; the prostate-shrinking effect of dutasteride builds over 3-6 months. Persist for the full benefit.

Women who are or may be pregnant must not handle leaking capsules. Dutasteride can harm a male baby; men should use condoms if their partner is or may become pregnant, and must not donate blood during and for 6 months after treatment. May cause dizziness (rise slowly), retrograde or reduced ejaculation, reduced libido and breast tenderness. Report breast changes. Tell your eye surgeon before cataract surgery.
