Citro-Soda is a urinary alkaliser supplied as granules, used to relieve the discomfort of mild urinary tract infections such as cystitis. It contains alkalising citrate and bicarbonate salts that make the urine less acidic, which helps soothe the burning or stinging when passing urine and the frequent urge to go. It is commonly used by women for short-term relief of cystitis symptoms. Citro-Soda eases discomfort while a mild infection settles, but it is not an antibiotic and does not cure the infection itself. Confirm the exact composition on the packaging.

Directions for Use

Dissolve the granules (one sachet or measure, as stated on the pack) in a glass of water and drink. It is usually taken a few times a day for a couple of days. Drink plenty of additional water throughout the day. Follow the dosing and the maximum number of days stated on the packaging.

Not suitable for people on a sodium- or potassium-restricted diet, or with heart, kidney or high blood pressure problems, without medical advice, as it contains mineral salts.
