Directions for Use
This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor. For heavy periods it is usually taken a few times a day during the heaviest days of bleeding (often for up to about 4 days), swallowed with water. Follow the exact dose and number of days your doctor sets, and do not exceed it. Start it as your period bleeding becomes heavy, as advised.
Tell your doctor if you have, or have had, blood clots (in the legs, lungs, eyes or brain), or a condition that raises clotting risk, as tranexamic acid is generally avoided then. Also tell your doctor about kidney problems, irregular periods of unknown cause, or other medicines (including the contraceptive pill). Report leg pain/swelling, chest pain, breathlessness, or vision changes urgently. See a doctor if heavy bleeding does not improve. Store below 30°C.
