Xarelto 10mg Tablets from Bayer contain rivaroxaban, a modern once-daily oral anticoagulant (blood thinner) that prevents harmful blood clots without routine blood-test monitoring. The 10mg strength is used to prevent deep vein thrombosis (DVT) after hip or knee replacement surgery and, in some patients, for extended prevention of recurrent DVT and pulmonary embolism. Rivaroxaban directly blocks clotting Factor Xa, providing predictable protection with no dietary restrictions. A major advance over older blood thinners for patients (30 tablets).

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Take only as directed by your doctor or pharmacist. Take one 10mg tablet once daily, with or without food, at the same time each day. Swallow with water. Never miss or double doses. Consistent daily protection is what prevents clots. Do not stop without consulting your doctor, as stopping early increases clot risk.

Increases bleeding risk. Seek urgent care for unusual bruising, prolonged bleeding, blood in urine or stools, coughing blood or severe headache. Tell every doctor, dentist or surgeon you take rivaroxaban before any procedure. Do not combine with other anticoagulants, and use NSAIDs or aspirin only on medical advice. Not suitable in active bleeding, severe liver disease, pregnancy or breastfeeding. Kidney function may need periodic checks. Store below 30°C.
