Cabalin NT Tablets (30 pack) combine pregabalin with nortriptyline. Pairing a nerve-pain medicine with a tricyclic antidepressant used at nerve-pain doses, for neuropathic (nerve) pain such as diabetic nerve pain and other chronic nerve pain. The two work through different mechanisms to calm the burning, shooting nerve pain that ordinary painkillers cannot touch.

Directions for Use

This is a prescription medicine. Dosage is determined by your prescribing doctor based on your individual needs. Do not adjust your dose without medical supervision. Doses are individualised and usually started low and increased gradually. Take exactly as prescribed, often at night initially due to drowsiness. Take consistently and never stop suddenly: both components must be tapered under medical guidance. Confirm the exact strengths with your pharmacist.

Causes drowsiness, dizziness and dry mouth. Do not drive until you know your response, and avoid alcohol and other sedatives. The pregabalin component has recognised misuse and dependence potential.
