Actifed Wet Cough and Cold Syrup 100ml is a triple-action remedy for chesty coughs that come with a blocked, runny nose. It combines an expectorant to loosen phlegm so it is easier to cough up, a decongestant to clear stuffy nasal passages, and an antihistamine to dry a streaming nose and calm sneezing. This makes it suited to the classic heavy cold. Chesty cough, congestion and runny nose together. Helping families breathe and rest easier through cold season.

Contains triprolidine hydrochloride, pseudoephedrine hydrochloride and guaifenesin. Confirm strengths per 5ml on product packaging.

Directions for Use

Use the measuring cup provided. Adults and children over 12: 10ml three to four times daily. Children 6-12: 5ml three to four times daily, on a pharmacist's advice. Do not exceed the stated dose, and do not combine with other cough, cold or antihistamine products. Drink plenty of warm fluids to help loosen phlegm. See a doctor if the cough lasts beyond a week or comes with high fever or breathing difficulty.

May cause drowsiness. Take care driving and avoid alcohol. Avoid with high blood pressure, heart disease, glaucoma, prostate problems, overactive thyroid, and MAOI antidepressants. Not recommended for children under 6. Consult a doctor before use in pregnancy or breastfeeding, or with diabetes, liver or kidney disease. Confirm exact composition on the pack label.
